Phil O’Reilly is Chief Executive of Business NZ, New Zealand’s largest business advocacy group, representing thousands of businesses of all sizes.
The Business NZ group includes four large regional business associations, the Major Companies Group, Export NZ, more than 70 affiliated industry associations and Buy NZ Made. The group’s goal is New Zealand’s prosperity through successful business.
Phil works with government and other key decision makers on issues of concern to business and the economy.
Internationally, Phil represents New Zealand employers at the International Labour Organisation, contributes to the governing body of the ILO, and is a delegate to the Business & Industry Advisory Council of the OECD.
Nationally, Phil chairs the Government’s Capitalising on Research & Development Action Group and is a board member of the NZ International Business Forum, the Foundation for Science, Research &Technology and the Royal Society, and serves on a number of other Ministerial and advisory groups.
Tauranga-based Pingar was founded in 2007 on the simple idea that internet and enterprise search should produce better results, faster. The first generation of Pingar’s semantic search technology was demonstrated last October at the 2009 Microsoft SharePoint Conference in Las Vegas. Growth since then has been rapid. Pingar has expanded its Research & Development team in New Zealand and is now expanding its presence into the UK, the USA and Hong Kong. Pingar works closely with the University of Waikato & AUT and is well known as a leading innovator in the semantic search and knowledge engineering software space.
Peter Wren-Hilton is a Pingar Co-founder and the company’s global CEO. He has spent the past twenty years working in the IT sector, firstly with Apple Computers, but more recently on his own account. Peter has established successful software development companies in the UK, India and NZ. A significant amount of his time is now spent offshore developing the global partnerships necessary to support and market Pingar’s unique semantic search technology.
Originally founded in 1996 as a local IT services business, since 2008 Unlimited Realities has transformed itself into a leading supplier of consumer software for global markets. Recent winners of the New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards for "Most Innovative Software Product" and working with global PC OEMs including Dell Computer, Palmerston North based Unlimited Realities continues to rapidly grow its export revenues which now represent more than 90% of its total revenues.
Ben Wilde, VP Marketing and Business development, has played a key role in that transformation and growth. Coming to Unlimited Realities since early 2008, Ben brings 15 years experience in the global software industry and a strong commercial and product focus to Unlimited Realities.
Shaun has over 10 years of experience in search technologies. As a co-founder of SLI Systems, he was one of the developers of the company's unique "Learning Search" site search technology. Shaun was also an original founder of GlobalBrain (in 1998), his first site search technology company bought by one of the world's leading portals Snap/NBCi.com in 2000, which he and his fellow founders bought back and later renamed SLI Systems. Prior to GlobalBrain, his background includes consulting with organizations such as international health technology company Invacare. Shaun is a frequent speaker at the Search Engine Strategies conferences in the U.S. and UK, and posts regular insights on site search trends to SLI's blog: http://blog.sli-systems.com/. In addition, his retail search bylines have published in Chief Marketer and Multichannel Merchant magazines. Shaun has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Canterbury.
Educated at the University of Canterbury, majoring in Computer Science, Graham has extensive management experience. Formerly a branch manager for Steel and Tube Ltd, one of NZ's largest steel merchandising companies, Graham heads the marketing arm of Hairy Lemon.

Andrew Plimmer is the CEO of Motim Technologies Ltd., a worldwide leader in mobile marketing interaction software based in Christchurch. Since its formation in late 2007, the company has already produced international award winning solutions for a number of the world's leading brands, and deployed its software in the U.S., U.K., Europe and mainland China. Plimmer is also a board member and trustee of the NZ Hi-Tech Trust, and chair of local industry group Electronics South.
